Communications; 1. Read a paper entitled "Extract of a Letter from John Huxham MD RS to William Watson FRS dated Plymouth February 5th, 1762; and a second paper enclosed with it, concerning two remarkable cases treated by Mr Adams, a Surgeon at Leskeard in Cornwall, one concerning a would in the neck, and one concerning a man struck by lightning. Read a letter addressed to the Reverend Dr Birch FRS dated 28 March 1761 from Ludguan and signed William Borlase, adding four short notes to a former paper of Mr Borlase, and gives some account of ' a subsequent agitation of the sea and of two violent thenderstorms which have happened in his neigbourhood'.
