Gifts;
1. A book in octavo printed in Paris entitled "Theorie du Mouvement des Cornetes" presented by the author, Mr Clairault FRS by Dr Watson FRS

2. Read letter in Latin addressed to Dr Birch FRS dated at Bononiae 11 April 1762 and signred Eustachio Zanotti FRS, where he presents two books and makes brief remarks on them; one being in quarto, printed at Bononia 1762 "Ephemerides motuum coelestium ex anno 1763 in annum 1774 ad Meridianum Bononiae ex Hallei tabulis supputatae. Auctoribus Eustachio Zanotti, Bononiensis scientiarum Institute Astronomo, et Sociis; ad usum instituti " [Account in brief]. The second book is a pamphlet in quarto also printed at Bononia, being a second edition of Zanottis observation etc of the late Transit of Venus. Treatise referred to Professor Bliss to give an account of it.

Communications
1. Read a paper entitled "A supplement to Mr Hornsby's Letter to Professor Bliss' concerning Mr Hornby's reasons why his deductions of thre quality of the parallax of the Sun he made no use of observations communicated from Madrass and Franquebar etc [Account given in detail]
2. Charles Morton FRS read a paper signed Charles Mason which gave the latitude of the Observatory of the Cape of Good Hope, reduced by Mason from 23 observations of different stars [Listed]
3. Read a letter addressed to Dr Birch FRS dated at Plymouth 10 June 1762 and signed J Huxham; with a letter enclosed and addressed to Dr Huxham dated Biddeford on 29 May 1762 and signed B [Benjamin] Dunn containing Mr Dunn's observations of the Transit of Venus. [Observations listed]
4. Read Dr Parson's translation of a Latin paper entitled "Descriptio fontis Heronis, in metallilfodinis chemnicersibus in Hungaria, anno 1756 constructi"communicated by Mr Baker FRS [Description of this machine listed, including Dr Wolfe's calculation of the rationale of this machine]
5. Read a paper entitled "A letter from the Count de Salucas FRS to Henry Baker FRS translated from the French by Matthew Maty MD FRS" concerning the sequel to the phenomena of the freezing cave not yet completed, but proceeds to give some account of a memoir which he will communicate to the Society entitled "An analysis of several experiments, which have been made to prove, that the vapours of Brimstone, and of the Wicks of lighted Candles, etc absorb air." [Account of experiment listed.]
