DescriptionMade the experiment to see the communication of motion. Equipment and method described.

Curator ordered to think of other experiments for making a hypothesis of motion, which is, 'That no motion dyes, nor is any motion produced anew.'

Sir Robert Moray proposed a motion regarding the rebounding of bodies, and others discussed it

Motion that all authors who have written on the subject of the nature, principles and laws of motion to be consulted and an account of their opinions brought in to see what had already been done in this matter. Mr Collins charged with this task, and to consult Des Cartes, Borelli, Marcus Manci. Dr Oldenburg ordered to ask Dr Wallis by letter to share in this project.

Mr Oldenburg read a letter by Mr Huygens, date at Paris, 13 November 1668 responding to one he had sent.

Curators reported on the experiment of examining the testicles of animals

Sir Paul Neil related a communication from Sir Gilbert Talbot of information from Sir Thomas Strickoand concerning an add disease of a poor man in Helperby in the county of York regarding a swelling in his side. He was thanked, and asked to give a trqanscript to be entered, to which he agreed.

Dr Ball produced some 'Propositions Physico-Mathematical' sent out of Italy, published by Dr Donato Rosetti. Propositions listed. Dr Ball asked to write to the Proposer concerning the second proposition.

Mr Oldenburg produced a packet of Curiositis sent by Mr Norwood fromthe Bermudas, also a letter and rarities sent from Aleppo and Hispakan by the Consul fo Aleppo and the Merchant's Factor of the latte. Both referred to the next meeting.
