The minutes of the last Ordinary Meeting and of the Anniversary Meeting were read.

The President taking the Chair addressed the Society in the followiong Discourse - [concerning his election and the honour done to him, some 19 pages]

Thanks were ordered by Dr Wollaston for hs attention to the affairs of the Society during his presidency.

The following Presents were received and thanks were ordered for them viz.-

A fifth Certificate was presented in favour of Richard Bright MD of Bloomsbury Square it was signed Benjamin Hobhouse - Davies Gilbert - JH J Colebrooke - P M Roget - William H wollaston - W A Cadell - S Solly

A sixth Certificate was presented in favour of George Wilbrahm Esq of Delamere Lodge Cheshire, it was signed Everard Home Roger Wilbraham Joseph Sabine - Henry Hobhouse - Charles Hatchett - Benjamin Hobshouse - Charles Wilkins - Thomas Murdoch - Thomas Lister parker - George Thomas Staunton

These Certificates were ordered to be suspended in the Reading Room.

James Watt Esq of HEathfield in Staffordshire, a Certificate in whose favour had been duly suspended in the meeting room wa put to the ballot and elected into the Society.

The reading of the Croonian Lecture was continued and concluded. [Transcript provided, 2 pqges]
