Lord Bishop of Sarum in the chair as the President was unexpectedly absent. He proposed the Lord Viscount Halifax as a candidate, who by reson of his quality was immediately put to the ballot and elected nomine contradicente.

After this the company proceeded to Election for Council [Fellows listed by name, both of those continuing for the next year, and the ten new members elected]
The following were elected as officers; Lord Brouncker for President, Mr Colwall Treasurer, Mr Henshaw and Mr Oldenburg as Secretaries. |
