Description | Two letters were read,the first from Mr Henry Hall in Gloucestershir to Mr Oldenburg, giving an account of the iron and coal mines in the Forest of Dean.
The second letter was from Mr Newton, dated at Cambridge 13 June 1676, containing partly a general answer to Mr Lucas's letter, with a promise of a particular one; partly some communications of an algibraical nature for Monsieur Leibnitz, who by an expresse letter to the Secretary had desired them. |
