Contains notes on Boyland formula (p1), notes from O G Sutton concerning a 'Report on Short Exposure to CG,' with stamp of Physiological Section, 12 Feb 1943 (p2); typescript notes 'on the Effect of Short Exposure to Phosgene on Rats and Guinea Pigs' by E Boyland and M J Rumens (p3), a paper titled 'Preliminary Report on the Relation Between Lethal Concentration and Time of Exposure for Dogs Exposed to Toxic Gases' (p9-11); a note from the then Commandant of the Chemical Defense Experimental Station annoucing the 'relinquishing of my appointment' with stamp of Physiological Section, 22 Aug 1942 (p12); notes on experiments involving comparison of sticky surfaces for impactor plates, with Porton address (p13); report on the 'Effectiveness of 20mm Hispano and 20mm Solothurn AP bullets for use with CW chargings,' with stamp of Physiological Section, 18 May 1942 (p15); letter from F[rancis] Call to Professor Gaddum, indicating that he is sending wartime reports on phosgene shoots (p17); a graph of recovery in rabbits exposed to phosgene (p20); typescript note about a telephone message for Professor Gaddum from Mr Davies, with names of three firms supplying tape (p22); form describing effects of exposure to chemical 'W' on a goat (p24); graph describing the penetration of drops of butyl phthalate through a bubbler (p27).
