These include: effects of lobeline (p4-14), experiments with metabolism apparatus (pp24-28, 52), antagonistic effects of acetylcholine and histamine, effects of adrenaline on blood pressure (pp34-36), increase in weight in pituitary extract when dessicated (p40), acetonitrile reactions in mice (pp42-46), thyroxanine diet reactions (p50), effects of thyroxine on diurensis (p88), experiments with RRI substance, the solubility of pro carnosine, tests on vinyl ether, calculations for well-buffered frog's Ringer (p104), varying surface tensions (p110), experiments with oxytocin and vasopressin (p114), experiments with ergot obtained from Manchester (p156), effect of acidity on histamine in the lungs, autidiuresis in rabbits (p160), and histamine extraction (p163). Contents list written in back of notebook.

Also contains photographs of results (between pp 151-152), several loose pages of graphs and data, one drawing (p153).

One 3 page typescript paper about an outbreak of ergotism in Manchester and techniques of ergot extraction inserted between p 55-56.

One article clipping describing an appeal for Fly Agaric, a poisonous form of toadstool, for research purposes on behalf of the National Institute for Medical Research, Hampstead (p181).
