DescriptionExperimental notes, relating to depressor substances. The volume has been used and then turned upside down and continued from other side. Experiments include assays with eserine on a cat (p3), the destructive action of dried blood on acetylcholine (p7), extracts from a dog's alimentary canal (p11), stimulation of nerves to dog's intestine under ether (p13), extracts tested on a rabbit's intestine and a cat's gastrocnemius (p15, 31), assays of acetylcholine on a frog's rectus (pp17-23), extracts of horse suprarenal and sympathetic system (pp36-37), tests of these extracts on a frog rectus, tests of destructive action of dried blood on a rabbit's intestine, extracts from horse spleen (p41), extracts from a dog intestine (p45), test of extracts on a rabbit's blood pressure (p49-57), tests by collusion (p89-91), tests of rat hyperthyroid, effects of atrophine (p115), test of ouabain on frogs. Many more variations on the extraction from organs, usually followed by testing of extract on a rabbit's or cat's blood pressure, or assays on a frog's rectus.
