Inscribed: Trinity House London 21 February 1767. This plan No. 7 being part of the general plan or design of the new lighthouses to be erected at the Spurn Point by the Master, Wardens and Assistants, Trinity House, do hereby under their common seal approve of and do appoint the same to be carried into execution pursuant to the Act of Parliament passed in the sixth year of his present Majesty's reign.
