DescriptionPart of a letter [LBO/7/5] from Mr Lister, written at York, and sent to Mr Oldenburg, entitled ' Some observations about the Astroites '
In the letter these are described as;
' which are stones also ionted like the others, but not found that i know of, in the same Rockes. And we must crosse the plain contrey, and seeke for them hard under the York-shire wooldes : For what store I could procure of them, were brought me from Bugthorpe and Leppington. ...'

These are 17 pen and ink drawings, in two columns, on one page and numbered. The explanation for each is in the previous letter [LBO/7/5]
