Description | Daily meteorological observations made at Somerset House, generally made in the morning and afternoon. On printed sheets, with columns for the date, time [scored through and replaced with 'sixes'], external and interior thermometers, barometer, hygrometer, rain, direction and strength of winds, and general weather remarks.

In a paper wrapper, stamped: 'The Royal Society of London'. There are some rough financial accounts 1816-1818 [p.10], mentioning Sir Humphry Davy and others. |
