With a title page: 'Horary Barometrical Observations. Point St. Francisco Maranham'.

Each page is headed: 'Meteorological Remarks at Maranham...'. The final page [p.184] is signed 'Horatio T. Austin, Commander'. Horatio Thomas Austin (1800-1865), took command of H.M.S. Chanticleer, following the accidental drowning of Captain Henry Foster, in 1831.
