Description | Thirty-seven hourly observations, commencing at 6.00am on 21 September and continuing to 6.00pm on 22 September [Autumn equinox]. With columns for: observation number; atronomical time of observation; barometer readings reduced to 32 degrees Fahrenheit and to 32 degrees Fahrenheit and RS standard; temperature measured by internal thermometer and external dry and wet external thermometers; wind direction and force; quantity of blue sky; and remarks on the general state of the weather.
Headed: 'Hourly Meteorological Observations made at Feldhausen, CGH on the 21st and 22d September 1837 by Sir John F.W. Herschel.'
