Columns for date, barometer readings at sunrise, 10.00am, noon, 3.00pm and sunset, with attached and exposed thermometer readings at corresponding times; rain gauge readings at sunrise and sunset, wind direction and general weather remarks. With greatest, least, and medium barometer and thermometer values; and hygrometer readings at sunrise, 10.00am, noon, 3.00pm and sunset. A final summary table [p.26] gives '...Medium, Greatest and Least Heights with the Extreme Difference of the Barometer, and Thermometer Attached & Exposed in the Year 1810'.

Inscribed in pencil [p.1]: 'Madras Observatory'. A footnote [p.24] is signed: 'J. Warren, Astronomer'.
