DescriptionRegarding the dedication of Johnson's recent work about further observations on medicinal leeches to the recipient. Additionally, he requests permission from the Council to reprint his paper from [Philosophical] Transactions on the mode of propagation of the hirudo vulgaris. Johnson references Dr. Bolle of Versailles, who had previously published on observations on leeches' procreation.
