Remarks it is too late to send an expedition, however there are 'scientific men' in New Zealand who may be willing to take observations of the eclipse. Schuster suggests if a Committee is appointed for the 1887 eclipse by the Council of the Royal Society, an objective of which should be 'to draw up a list of suggestions of simple observations'. |
