TitleLetter from [David] Bruce, Journal of the Royal Army Medical Corps, 68 Victoria Street, London, to Sir Archibald Geikie
CreatorBruce; Sir; David (1855-1931)
Date7 October 1904
Description'Dear Sir Archibald, I enclose a letter which I have just received from Bruce-Low of the Local Government Board. Would you kindly write him an answer. I expect Johnstone will arrive in London to-morrow, and I have written to him, requesting an early interview. If he furnishes us with a report, as I think he should do, he might require a week or ten days to prepare it, in which case he would naturally be paid out of the funds of the Commission, or, at least, the salary of his substitute would be paid. Yours very truly, D Bruce'.

Enclosed is a handwritten letter from Bruce Low to David Bruce, dated 6 October, consisting of one page, regarding a communication they recieved from the Treasury informing them of the santioning of the continued employment of Dr Johnstone's substitute.
