DescriptionRegarding sleeping sickness [African trypanosomiasis] and a letter received from the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine. Sir Archibald Geikie has suggested the letter be sent to the Chairman of the Tropical Diseases Committee for his opinion, Harrison enquires whether Lankester approves of the 'course being taken'. Includes Lankesters reply informing he does not approve, stating there is no advantage to the Royal Society in obtaining the 'services of these two persons', and gives his explanation.
