CreatorWharton; Sir; William James Lloyd (1843-1905)
Date2 April 1904
Description'Dear Sir, With reference to your letter of the 28th ultimo, I find that the observations taken at Bombay are at present in a form unsuitable for completion. I would suggest that they be sent back to Bombay Observatory, and the observers asked, in accordance with the Royal Society's Memorandum on the subject of Antarctic observations, to carry out the arithmetical reductions and enter the final results on the sheets. Yours truly, J L Wharton, Hydographer. P.S. The observations are returned herewith [enclosures not present].'
