| Description | 'My dear Treasurer, I am sending with this the cheque drawn on our Pension Fund Account for £465 7s. 2d. in favour of the Bank of England, for the purchase of stock for the Fund - the amount representing the annual transfer, £400, and dividend received for the past year, £65 7s. 2d. In accordance with the usual practice, will you be good enough to instruct the Bank with regard to the purchase and also as to which R.
