|Presenting his invention of a 'Hydraulic Fire Escape', currently showing at the Newcastle Polytechnic Exhibition. Hall mentions the endorsement from the Superintendent of the Police in Newcastle, Mr Stephens, and requests the Society's inspection and approval.
