DescriptionReporting that the Lords Commissioners of the Treasury have postponed consideration on the Society's suggestion to establish a series of magnetical and meteorological observations at Vancouver Island or a nearby station. The commissioners also note the increased expense for the publication of the magnetical observations from Toronto, St Helena, and the Cape of Good Hope.
