TitleLetter from Charles Few, Few & Company, London, to [Michael] Foster, Shelford, Cambridgeshire
Date15 June 1886
DescriptionRegarding the Croonian Lecture. Have made enquiries of Dr [Dyce] Duckworth and the College of Physicians. Refers to the book which Foster lent Few, remarks it does not specify the Trusts position regarding the Royal Society 'which was brought before the court of Chancery in 1728-1729 when the Society sought a variable in the trusts' as seen by a decree [not enclosed]. Remarks limits on the fee to be paid to the Lecture or Lecturers. Refers to the confirmation of recommendations by the Master of Chancery. Few has been informed by Dr Duckworth that he will pay one fifth of the years rent by Michaelmas.
