TitleLetter from Robert [Henry] Scott, Meteorological Office, London, to John Evans, Treasurer of the Royal Society
CreatorScott; Robert Henry (1833-1916); Irish meteorologist
Date18 June 1886
DescriptionRegarding the disstribution of the Fort Rae observations. Refers to a resolution of the International Polar Committe, which states 100 copies would be set aside for the different countries taking part in the observations, as well as the number of copies left for sale. Scott asks Herbert Rix to send the Royal Society's list of institutions and persons to which the book should be sent. He will then compare this with their distribution list and come to an arrangment.
