Description | Regarding the 'Board of Trade would on a suitable application being made to them' would grant the Kew Commitee a license under the Company's Act 'which would give them the status of a Corporation, and guard against the possible inconveniences which may at any time arise in connecxion [sic] with their business transactions'. Galton requests the President of the Society to support this application, and that 'it will involve no sort of liabilities on the Royal Society'. |
