DescriptionThe Librarian of the Zoological Society, Mr A J Waterhouse has compiled 'a genera of birds', but has had somedifficulty in finding 'a publisher to undertake it'. Scalter has found a publisher who will publish the work on the condition of a subsidy of £25. Therefore Scalter applies to the Donation Fund of the Royal Society for a grant of £25 'to enable Mr A J Waterhouse to compile print and publish a list of the genera of birds'.
