DescriptionRequests the President and Council of the Royal Society to give their 'assent' to the Kew Committee to make an application to the Board of Trade to 'grant' them 'a license under the Company's Act which would give them the status of a Corporation' and would 'guard against the possible inconveniences' related to their business transactions. Whipple informs that the Society would not be involved in any 'liabilities'.
