DescriptionScott informs that the Meteorological Council have published a 'considerable part' of the meteorological observations from 1869 to 1883, made at the Glasgow Observatory. They are 'unable to advise the Council of the Royal Society to participate in a republication of the results which will be dealt with by the Meteorological Office'. Includes a 'statement of discussions and publications of observations made at Glasgow Observatory' by R H Curtis dated 3 November 1890, referring to the pressure, temperature, wet bulb, vapour tension, wind, rainfall and sunshine.
