DescriptionStrachey informs Foster that he had never heard of the Royal Geogrpahical Society of the Pacific until he got Foster's note [NLB/9/233], but is aware they are recognised by the Royal Geographical Society. He suggests to Foster the Pacific Society would not require recognition from the Royal Society, therefore not to send a delegate, but an answer.
