Title | Letter from Harrison & Sons Printing Office, St Martin's Lane, London, to [Robert William Frederick] Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society, Burlington House |
Creator | Harrison & Sons; printers |
Date | 20 March 1903 |
Description | 'Dear Sir, We find that the gradual accumulation of the unbound stock that we hold of the [Royal] Society's [Philosophical] Transactions and Proceedings, as also of their wood blocks and electrotypes, has rendered it necessary for us to make new arrangements for warehousing; and we find it will be necessary to charge the Society a small rental for the space occupied. Before deciding upon the amount of this we are writing to enquire whether any portion of very old stock may be delivered to you or disposed of? Yours faithfully, Harrison & Sons'. |
