DescriptionThe Secretary of the Royal Company of Archers has received an enquiry from a 'gentleman' asking him to examine the records of the Company to see if his grandfather, John Cockburn Robinson was admitted a member in 1825. He has found that a person names John Robinson, Secretary of the Royal Society was admitted a member in 1892. However the information does not match up. Therefore requests to know is there was a 'Robinson' a Secretary of the Society between 1825 and 1829, and the full name.
