Description'Gentlemen, Referring to your letter of the 20th May relative to a contribution of £300 by the Government of Ceylon towards the cost of the publication of Professor Herdman's final report on the Ceylon Pearl Fishery, I have to inform you that the Secretary of State has instructed us to oay the amount to the Treasurer of your Society. I enclose a receipt form for £300, which after being signed can be collected through your Bankers. I am, Gentlemen, Your obedient Servant, M A Cameron?'.
