Description'Sir, With reference to your letter of the 29th ulto, I am directed by the Secretary of State of Foreign Affairs to transmit herewith, for the information of the Royal Society, copy of a letter from the War Office respecting the secondment of Lieutenant Tulloch, for service on the sleeping sickness [African trypanosomiasis] Commissioner in Ugada. I am, Sir, Your most obdedient, humble, Servant, Clement L Hill'.

Enclosed is a typescript copy of a letter from E W D Ward, War Office, London, to the Under Secretary of State, Foreign Office, dated 13 October 1904, consisting of one page, regarding Tulloch. Additionally A memoranda to Colonel [David] Bruce is enclosed, regarding Ward's letter from the War Office, with Bruce's reply as 'noted and returned'.
