DescriptionWalpoles has been asked by the Secretary of state for India in Council to send the Royal Society correpsondence from the Government of India, Revenue and Agricultural Department and the Agricultural Ledger [enclosures not present]. Enquires whether the Advisory Committee are prepared to bring this to the notice of the India Office, 'reports on sewage schemes and experiments in this country', and to suggest names of individuals who would be consulted by Indian officials. Walpole requests 'that the Programme of Research Work of the Board of Scientific Advice' 1904-05 be submitted for the opinion of the Advisory and the Observatories Committee.
