DescriptionLewis refers to her inqury to the Assistant Librarian, regarding what had become of Martin Folkes's letters and papers. Since then Lewis has found a lrge number of them are in the possession of Sir William H Browne Folkes, who has sent 5 volumes of letters, and she is working from them at the British Museum. Lewis asks if the Librarian woud be interested in examining them.

Enclosed is a handwritten note regarding Lewis's initial enquiry.
