| Description | Ross informs Sir A Jones 'started a most appaling advertisement' about Boyce and himself, that they were sending him out to New Orleans to teach the Americans how to stop yellow fever. Boyce went however Ross refused to go and send an ultimatum to the School Committee, that if his name is sent to the papers again he will 'pack up and walk out'.
Enclosed is a copy of a typescript letter from A H Milne, to Ronald Ross, dated 11 September 1905, referring to announcement in the "Times" of the proposed visit of Professor Boyce and Ross to New Orleans and clarifies the intention of its publication. |
