DescriptionRegarding shares due to the Society from sold land rights of Oak Common, which were bought by the North and South West Junction Railway Company. The owner of the common is disputing all claimaints' rights to these shares despite some of them, including the Society's, being found appropriate by the Assistant Enclosure Commissioner. Few & Co enclose a power of attorney to be approved by the Council in order to go ahead in the legal proceedings.
