DescriptionAcknowledgement of Thompson's letter [MDA/A/22/4] confirming the purchase of a wreath to be sent to Thompson's required address in Amsterdam. Acknowledgement of 'the sale at Stevens'. The [Joseph] Banks letters were in poor condition and had been returned from the manuscript sold at Sotherby's last June and were the manuscripts of papers already published in the '[Philosophical Transactions] of the [Royal Society]'.
