TitleCopy letter from Sir Henry Thomas Tizard, to Jonkheer E M Storm van's Gravesande, Nieuwe Gracht 65 bis, 158635 Utrecht, Holland
Date1 November 1945
DescriptionRegrets that Gravesande's letter to the Vice Chancellors Committee, Sir Hector Hetherington of 17 September was not answered owing to a misunderstanding, but was instead forwarded by Hetherington to the Royal Society. Tizard is now in receipt of both the forwarded letter and Gravesande's letter to the Society of 21 October.

Tizard reports that the Society would be glad to assist, but proposes that the the Organisatie van Natuurphilosophische en Technoloische Faculteiten in Nederland propose a list of British scientists' names and then the Society will make enquiries as to whether any of the named individuals would be able to visit for the purpose of delivering lectures at Dutch universities.
