TitleCorrespondence and cuttings relating to the Arundel Library Fund
DescriptionMaterial relating to the sale of early printed books and oriental manuscripts, deemed to be of limited or no scientific interest, from the Arundel Collection (or Norfolk Library). Volumes were offered to the British Museum before the sale, which took place at Sotheby and Company. Funds realized were intended to be used for the maintenance and improvement of the Royal Society Library.
