DescriptionLast year he undertook some work for a Royal Society Committee on bacteria and toxins in water. He was also placed on the Tsetse Fly Committee. Work for the latter prevented him from contributing to the former and he must renounce this research. He had expended £5 of the £30 grant [from the Gunning Fund]. He wishes to withdraw decently and return the grant.
