TitleCopy of a letter from the Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society to T Martin Esq, General Secretary, Royal Institution of Great Britain, 21 Albemarle Street, London W1
Date29 May 1942
Description I am directed to inform you that the Council of the Royal Society at the meeting yesterday decided that the Society should pay half of the memorial service to the late Sir William Bragg.

A cheque for £43 will be sent to you shortly, since it is deemed more proper that the settlement with the Dean and Chapter should be made by the Royal Institution and not by the Society. '
