TitleLetter from W H Kenerson, to Dr H J Muller, Department of Zoology, Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana
Date1 October 1945
DescriptionCommunication from the Executive Secretary of the National Academy of Sciences of his conversations with the State Department of the USA, regarding the fact that they have not yet received assurance from the American Embassy in Great Britain of available transportation for Muller's return passage. Kenerson emphasises that this is a lack of response rather than unfavourable answer. He further notes reports the difficult transport situation travelling west, and although he highlights the fact that the State Department cannot offer guarentees, he does note their helpfulness.
