DescriptionCorrection of an apparent misunderstanding of Mr [Clement] Attlee, as expressed in a letter to Mr E W Salt, regarding Fundamental Research in Aeronautics.Tizard states that he believes it should be organised under an Executive Council for which the Lord President of the Royal Society would take responsibility, and not as Attlee had thought, that the Executive Research Council should take responsibility for development and production.

Also includes a request for copies of the precis of Tizard's speech.
