DescriptionReports that Jean Willems, Administrateur et Director du Fonds National de la Recherche Scientifique et de la Fondation Universitaire, Brussels called at the Royal Society to see Tizard as the Foreign Secretary of the Society, and indicated that Belgian scientists would welcome an official visit from the Society. Reference is made to correspondence with William Horace Montagu-Pollock of the Foreign Office.

Also mentions that Davies had been away in West Wales to collect some of the Society's property, which had been deposited there at the outbreak of the Second World War. Includes a business card for Jean Willems.
