TitleCopy letter from Sir Henry Thomas Tizard, to William Horace Montagu-Pollock
Date12 July 1945
DescriptionIn response to having been shown Pollock's letter to John David Griffith Davies, Tizard notes that he will let Pollock know of any proposals to send representatives of the Royal Society abroad, but makes plain that they cannot be responsible for Fellows of the Society who accept private invitations. Sir Alfred Egerton is noted as due to visit Prague in the near future, and Tizard states that he hopes to visit Holland and Belgium in the autumn.

Professor Archibald Vivian Hill's visit to Copenhagen and Oslo is noted as succesful, with a word of thanks for Pollock's role in arranging the visit.
