Title | Letter from Ettrick William Creak, 36 Kidbrooke Park Road, Blackheath, to the Secretaries of the Royal Society |
Date | 13 February 1895 |
Description | He considers that the interest on Dr. R.H. Gunning's bequest should be alternated between the physical and biological sciences and the situation reviewed every three years for the most desirable object for which the money might be given. The first three years' fund should be dedicated to magnetical observations. At the end of that time, or if no other more urgent research was required, a further grant might be made for the same. After six years, the fund should revert to the biological sciences. |
