DescriptionCorrespondence and other material on the donation of cash and equipment from Horace Darwin Fund, to locations in Czechoslovakia. Instruments to the value of just over £5,000 were offered by the Scientific Instrument Manufacturers' Association of Great Britain, with cash donations of £2,212 to the Horace Darwin Fund (by October 1946). These were distributed 'for the re-equipment of laboratories and institutions in devastated Europe'. The file commences with a list of instruments, including electronic relays, epidiascopes and microscopes, distributed to individuals and scientific departments.
