Includes discussion of: who should act as Trustee of the whole fund and which Court should administer the process; a proposal by the Royal Society's Treasurer that the administration of the Trust be based in New Zealand, and the income held there and expended in agreement with the Council of the Royal Society, allowing scientists to visit the country for lecture purposes, and for New Zealand scientists to visit the United Kingdom; communication with the Royal Anthropological Institute; the amount of money that has accumulated for the Royal Society since Curl's death and the use to which it should be put; amendments to the draft scheme of administration, including whether the money is to be spent in the United Kingdom or New Zealand, income tax, and an administrative charge paid from the income to the Society; approval of the scheme laid before the Council of the Royal Society; the drafting of an affidavit by the Royal Society deeming the original scheme impractical, as required by the Court to re-open the matter, including mention of the fact that the subject for the monographs should be specified, and arrangements for the affidavit to be engrossed by Sir William Penney; an equivalent affidavit submitted by the Royal Anthropological Institute; a warrant of authority allowing the Royal Society to appear on the Court proceedings; the approval of the scheme by the New Zealand Court in 1959 and subsequent communication regarding access to the funds from the bequest; use of Curl Trust funds to allow Dr R A Falla, a New Zealand scientist, to attend the Royal Society and present papers on oceanic birds as dispersal agents, during a discussion meeting on 'The biology of southern cold-temperate zone' in December 1959, possibly to be accompanied by Dr Watter; agreement by the Royal Society's Finance Committee to allow the income to accumulate until required, preferably in Australasia, 25 January 1961.

Also includes a draft scheme for the administration of the charitable bequest of the Royal Anthropological Institute contained in the Will of Curl; draft schemes of the public trustees for the adminstration of charitable bequests to the Royal Society and the Royal Anthropological Institute contained in the Will of Curl; draft affidavit by the Royal Society deeming the original scheme impractical, 1958; account statements of the Public Trustee's Administration, 28 February 1958-30 September 1959, 30 September 1959-31 December 1959, 31 December 1960- 31 December 1961; a scrap of paper annotated 'File closed 31 Dec/61'.
